Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whisky (70cl, 50%)

Rittenhouse Straight Rye is a Bottled-in-Bond American rye whisky, 100 proof or 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The flavour draws on the spice of the rye, the soft sweetness and texture of corn, and a little toast from the barley. The nose has dried fruits, toffee and sweet peppers. The palate is clean and rich, with cocoa, citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, and the finish carries a lingering, maple-like spiciness.
