Rosewood 6 Year Old Small Batch Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (45%)

This is a six year old Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a small batch bottling at 45%. It is made from a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and the brand's owners chose 50 casks for this small batch range. The nose shows rye, black pepper and baking spices, with herbal notes, a touch of caramel and toasted grain. On the palate there is clear cinnamon, dry wood and black pepper, balanced by a gentle vanilla sweetness.
