This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Rosewood, aged for seven years and bottled at 53.5% ABV, or 107 proof. It is part of a small-batch range released in 2026 that revives a Louisville brand.
The mash bill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley. The bourbon matured in new American oak barrels with a level 4 char, often called alligator char.
The nose offers sweet caramel, creamy vanilla and brown sugar, with toasted oak, ripe fruit, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is full and powerful, with toffee and candied orange peel.
