A classic-style red wine made for those seeking intensity and mature sensory character. Deep ruby in colour with concentrated reflections, it opens with mature red fruit, light spice and earthy notes. The palate has a well-defined body, present but contained tannins and a structure that carries the fruit to a persistent but not intrusive finish. It can be enjoyed now, after brief decanting, or kept for a moderate period. Serve slightly below room temperature with meat dishes, aged cheeses, rustic preparations and mushroom-based dishes.
