Rounagle Armagnac 1976 (70cl)

This 1976 Armagnac from Rounagle comes in a wooden box and shows the complexity typical of long ageing without excess. It is deep amber in colour. On the nose there are dried fruit notes of plum and fig, old honey, vanilla, and hints of leather and tobacco; the wood is felt as structure rather than overlay, with sweet spices and a light toasted walnut note.
