This Royal Brackla is Small Batch Edition #17 from Signatory Vintage, a 10 year old Highland single malt distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2025. It is bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle, and it is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
After its first decade the whisky was finished in first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogsheads, which add sweetness to the light fruit and pepper character of the distillery.
The nose brings dried figs, dark toffee and nutmeg. The palate is rich with fruitcake, caramelised nuts and a touch of spice. The finish is long, with sweet notes and warming oak spice.
