Royal Brackla 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt finished in first-fill oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Last Great Malts series, part of the range of single malts the distillery launched in 2015. Royal Brackla was the first distillery allowed to use the 'Royal' title.
The oloroso finish gives a sweet, spicy character with a hint of smoke. Rich spices, creamy vanilla, succulent fruit and a zing of citrus are the notes usually described.
