Royal Brackla 19 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured in oak and then finished in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. It belongs to the Exceptional Cask Series and is bottled at 54.9% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, in an edition of 1,170 bottles.
Royal Brackla was granted a Royal Warrant in 1833 by King William IV.
The nose is vanilla and creamy coconut with ripe honeydew melon, cinnamon and star anise. The palate is full bodied and rounded, with the same vanilla and coconut beneath melon fruit and warming spice. The finish is long, with gentle spice and a clean sweetness that fades slowly.
