A single malt Scotch whisky from Royal Brackla, distilled in 2007 and matured for 15 years in a single hogshead. It is bottled at 54.3% in a 70cl bottle by the independent bottler The Whisky Baron, as part of its Founder's Collection, with an outturn of 290 bottles.
The nose is light and floral, with sweet peas, honeycomb and peach pits, and a damp wood spice develops as it opens. On the palate come stewed orchard fruits, peaches and plums, then soft vanilla, caramel and a darker honey, with oak spice and damp cigar leaf. The finish moves from sweetness to damp spice, with light tannins.
