A 21-year-old single malt from Royal Brackla, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The distillery stands on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands and was founded by Captain William Fraser in 1812.
In 1833 it became the first Scotch whisky to be granted a Royal Warrant, by King William IV. Its style is fruity with rich sherried notes, and every expression is finished in first-fill sherry casks from Spain.
The tasting notes describe syrupy toffee with richly fragrant summer berries.
