This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was finished in a combination of oloroso, palo cortado and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The result is described as syrupy toffee with summer berries warmed by the sun and dusted with cinnamon and muscovado sugar.
On the nose there is vanilla creme with sweet, slightly sharp fresh berries and gooseberries. The palate brings chocolate flake and a few dark spices. The finish carries a green edge, with cocoa, chocolate sponge and cream.
