Royal Brackla 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery founded in 1812, and one of the first to receive a Royal Warrant, in 1833. The whisky is matured in American oak, then finished in oloroso, palo cortado and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
The nose brings ripe dark fruits, dark chocolate and a hint of spice. The palate has creamy vanilla, berries and gentle oak, and the finish is long, with dried fruits and lingering warmth.
