This is a 23 year old Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, distilled on 12th July 2000. It matured for two decades in a refill puncheon, then moved on 12th August 2021 into a Tokaji white wine cask for a finish chosen and overseen by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod.
Tokaji is a Hungarian dessert wine made from botrytis-affected grapes. The bottling comes from a single distillation date, and 258 bottles were filled.
It is described as supple, with ripe peaches and apricots, mellowed by frangipane and soft coconut.
