Royal Brackla 25 Year Old is a Highland single malt released as a limited edition, with 64 bottles for the UK. It spent 25 years in first-fill bourbon barrels and was then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
The bottle is clear flint glass with gold and red screen-printed text, and it comes in an FSC-sourced wooden box painted blue.
The nose is described as luscious summer fruits with spice-laden raisins and dried figs, melting into milk chocolate, ground coffee and toasted almonds. On the palate it is said to linger, serene and endless.
