A 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Royal Salute, in a 75cl bottle at 40%, bottled by Chivas Brothers.
The nose is deep, with old oak, sandalwood furniture and autumn spice of cinnamon and ginger, alongside poached pears, roasted apples, ripe peach, heather honey, toffee, vanilla and milk chocolate. On the palate it is dense, silky and creamy, with orange marmalade sweetness, raisins and toasted hazelnuts and walnuts, then a spiced note that melts into hints of sherry. The finish is long and warm, with very faint peat smoke, dry oak and cocoa liqueur.
