Royal Salute 21 Years Old The Jodhpur Polo Edition (70cl, 40%)

This is a 21 year old blended malt Scotch whisky from Royal Salute, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The Jodhpur Polo Edition marks the Blue City of Jodhpur in India, described as the birthplace of modern polo. It is blended from a selection of malt whiskies, fully finished in virgin oak casks, and takes its inspiration from the rich, aromatic flavours associated with India. The nose is tropical, with mango, pomegranate and coconut alongside butterscotch, vanilla custard and apricot and ginger jam. The palate is rich and spicy, with dark chocolate, caramel and thick honey under cinnamon, cloves and ginger. The finish is long.
