Royal Salute 25 Years Old is a small batch blended whisky from Chivas Brothers, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in first fill Pedro Ximénez casks.
The nose offers poached pear, dried blueberries and apricots with honey, then golden syrup, Black Forest gateau and Christmas spices.
On the palate come apple pie and black cherry, sweet plums and candied ginger, giving way to orange peel, honeycomb and sweet toasted oak. The finish is rich, dry and lightly spiced.
