Rozelieures – Single Cask Vosne-Romanée Finish (70cl, 46%)

This is a double-distilled single malt from Rozelieures, peated to 45 ppm and bottled from a single cask at 46% abv, in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition. The whisky was finished in ex-Vosne-Romanée casks. The wine was a deliberate choice: Christophe Dupic is a keen enthusiast of Burgundy wines, and his family has close ties with growers in the region who set aside their best casks for him. The whisky is described as very complex, rich and saline.
