A single cask rum from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados, distilled in 2006 by Master Distiller Richard Seale. It matured in ex-bourbon casks, first for 14 years in tropical climate on Barbados and then for 5 years in continental Europe. The outturn is 344 bottles.
It is deep mahogany in colour, with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, raisin, tropical fruit and a hint of smoke. The palate is complex, with vanilla, raisins, tropical fruit and smoke, elegant and well-integrated alcohol, and a long finish.
