Rutherford's Ceramic Edinburg Castle is a single malt Scotch whisky from Rutherford & Co, in a 50cl ceramic bottle and bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose opens with sweet grain and butterscotch, followed by light toasted malt, a little nuttiness and a faint herbal, old-wood note. On the palate it is light and easy, with honey, vanilla and toasted sugar alongside soft spiced oak, at a medium body.
The finish is short to medium, clean and gently dry, with a little white pepper and a slightly sweet background.
