Ryelaw is a single grain Scotch from InchDairnie Distillery in Scotland. Its mash bill is unusual for the category: 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. It is matured in virgin American oak and distilled in Lomond Hill stills.
The nose offers rye spice, vanilla and oak. The palate brings pepper, sweet biscuit and dried fruit, with an oily texture and hints of sandalwood, caramel and baking spices.
The finish is long and subtly spicy.
