Sagamore Spirit Rye is a straight rye whiskey in the Maryland style, aged for four to five years and bottled at 41.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a golden straw colour.
The spirit is made at Maryland's Sagamore Farm, using naturally filtered spring water from a limestone aquifer, drawn through a spring house built in 1909.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel and baking spices. On the palate there is candied dried orange peel with clove and nutmeg, and the finish carries hints of walnut and brown sugar.
