Saltyre 12 Years Old is a twelve-year-old Scotch single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV.
The nose is mature, with dried fruit, lingering honey, old oak and toasted malt, plus a very light coastal, marine touch. On the palate it opens soft and unctuous, with toffee, aged vanilla and sweet spice such as cinnamon, alongside a pronounced, elegant woodiness.
The finish is long, warm and markedly dry, leaving dried fruit and a slightly salty, oceanic note.
