Samaroli Glentauchers 1996 is a single malt distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2020 by Samaroli, an Italian independent bottler founded in Rome in 1968.
Samaroli owns no distilleries and is known for labels with distinctive artwork that departs from traditional whisky labels.
The nose offers freshly burnt wood, dried leaves and countryside scorched by a tiring season, with resin and hay. On the palate come yeast, honey and butter, followed by a very long, persistent finish.
