This is a single malt from Samaroli, the independent Italian bottler founded in Rome in 1968. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2020, and carries Orkney Highland on the label.
The nose is described as an island in a storm: flowers and iodine, heather and a powdery note, set against brackish air and seaweed, like salt left by the wind on meadows beside the North Sea.
