A red wine from Emilia-Romagna made from Sangiovese, in the Riserva style. The nose shows ripe red fruit, cherry, plum, sweet spices and light aromatic herbs. On the palate it has savouriness, solid structure, present but well-integrated tannins and lively acidity. The finish has good persistence with fruity returns and a light earthy note. It pairs with cured meats, savoury meat dishes, ragu pasta and aged cheeses.
