A red wine made from Sangiovese, with a lively ruby colour. The nose shows small red berry fruit such as cherry and raspberry, with light floral notes and a herbaceous hint. The palate is fresh and savoury, with acidity balancing young, non-aggressive tannins, and a slender structure suited to everyday drinking. It suits simple dishes such as tomato-based pasta, white meats, pizza, cured meats and fresh or semi-aged cheeses. The finish is savoury and of medium persistence.
