A Sangiovese Superiore Riserva from Villa Emme, made from small-berried Sangiovese. It is vinified in cement vats, then aged for 12 to 24 months in large oak casks and three months in bottle.
It is garnet ruby in colour, with a complex nose of spice, coffee, chocolate, forest fruits and cherries. On the palate it is balanced, well structured and elegant, with a very long, soft finish supported by lively tannins.
