A red wine made from Sangiovese, vinified in cement vats and aged for 12 to 24 months in large oak barrels, followed by three months in bottle. It has a garnet ruby colour and a complex nose with spicy notes, coffee, chocolate, forest fruits and cherries. On the palate it is balanced, well structured and elegant, with a very long, soft finish supported by lively tannins.
