Sangue di Giuda Oltrepò Pavese DOC - Giorgi

A red wine from Oltrepò Pavese, produced by Giorgi from a blend of Croatina, Ughetta and Barbera. The grapes are grown on iron-rich and clay soils and hand-harvested at the right moment of ripeness. The wine is deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose shows blackberry, raspberry and light spice reminiscent of cinnamon and clove. On the palate it has medium body, sweetness balanced by fresh acidity and soft but present tannins, leading to a persistent finish.
