A Venezuelan aged rum from Santa Teresa, taking the triple-aged, Solera-blended 1796 base and finishing it in Irish whiskey casks. The flagship rum is built through the traditional Solera method, blending rums matured separately in American oak barrels, French Limousin oak casks and Sherry casks, with some components reaching as much as 35 years of age. The Irish whiskey finish adds an additional period of maturation. The brand describes a rich balance of oak, caramel, dried fruit, vanilla and gentle spice, with extra depth and complexity while maintaining an elegant and approachable profile. Bottled at 90 proof.
