This is a single malt from Switzerland, matured in three kinds of cask: beer, port and sherry. It is bottled at 44% in a 50cl bottle, with no added colour.
The nose is intense, with dried fruit such as prune, sultana and apricot, alongside dried walnuts, roasted hazelnuts, a subtle beer note, and a touch of leather and pipe tobacco. The palate opens with wood, soft tannins and fruity wine notes, then black pepper wrapped in dense malt. The finish is spicy and winey, ending on toffee.
