Asaka Ancient Single Cask is a single cask Japanese whisky from Sasanokawa Shuzo, the only whisky distillery in the Tohoku region. The distillery was founded in 2015 by the Sasanokawa Shuzo company, which has made alcoholic drinks since 1765. It is pale gold in colour. The nose is described as white flowers, creamy vanilla, delicate pastry and caramelised pineapple. On the palate it is rich and robust, with traces of spice and aged wood.
