Sazerac Rye (75cl, 45%)

Sazerac Rye is an American rye whisky bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is linked to the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street in New Orleans, where patrons were served toddies made with rye whiskey and Peychaud's Bitters. That drink became known as the Sazerac, described as America's first branded cocktail. The whiskey dates back to the 1800s, when saloons posing as coffee houses lined the city's streets. Aromas of clove, vanilla, anise and pepper are met by subtle candied spice and citrus. The finish is big and smooth, with hints of liquorice.
