Sazerac Rye is a straight rye whiskey distilled in the USA, known as the spirit behind the classic Sazerac cocktail from New Orleans. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
It is also used in other cocktails such as the Old Fashioned and the Manhattan, and can be taken neat or over ice.
The flavour is soft vanilla with warm spice of pepper and cinnamon, and light honey and citrus. The body is medium and the finish is elegant.
