Sazerac Straight Rye is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky. The nose is sweet and spicy, with stem ginger in syrup, orange zest, freshly ground black pepper and mixed peel. The palate is thick and spicy, with Seville orange marmalade and allspice, and peanut butter, toffee and barrel char arrive later on. The finish is oily and spicy, in keeping with the spice that runs from the nose onwards.
