Sazerac Straight Rye (75cl, 45%)

Sazerac Straight Rye is a Kentucky rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle at 45% abv, matured in American oak. It carries the name of New Orleans' best-known drink. Rye whiskey goes back to the 1800s, when saloons began to line the city's streets. At the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street, patrons were served toddies made with rye and Peychaud's Bitters. The drink became known as the Sazerac, described as America's first branded cocktail.
