Scallywag 13 Years Old Limited Edition (70cl, 46%)

Scallywag 13 Years Old is a limited edition blended malt from Douglas Laing, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is sweet and fruity, with ripe fruit, raisins, Christmas pudding and molasses, a clear sherry character, and vanilla, caramel fudge, ginger and cinnamon. The palate is oily, rich and silky, opening with brown sugar, stewed dark fruit of figs and plums, and melted dark chocolate, then turning to nutmeg, cinnamon and malty cereal. The finish is medium to long, lightly dry and spiced, with milk chocolate, mocha and toasted oak.
