A 14 year old single malt from Scapa, the Orkney distillery, bottled in 2007 at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in the 1990s. This 14 year old was introduced by the distillery's then new owners, Chivas Brothers, to replace the 12 year old, and was later superseded by the 16 year old official bottling. It is no longer produced. Scapa is the only distillery to use a Lomond still, and its long fermentation helps give a fruity character that is carried into the spirit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
