Scapegrace Rise I is a New Zealand single malt made from Laureate malt and aged for 5 years in virgin French oak casks. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is pronounced, with cinnamon, cloves, warm oaky spice, creamy vanilla and buttered toast. The palate is smooth and sweet, with hazelnut crostata, allspice, pepper and drizzles of caramel. The finish is long and velvety, with warm spices and nuttiness.
