Scapegrace Vanguard is a single malt from New Zealand, bottled at 40% ABV, in a 700ml bottle.
The nose offers honeyed malt and spiced pear, with vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate it is full-bodied, with caramelised nuts, citrus zest and warm baking spices over a soft malt core.
The finish is long, with cocoa, oak spice and dried fruit easing into a gentle warmth.
