Scorpion Mezcal Añejo is a small-batch mezcal made in Oaxaca, Mexico, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle holds a real scorpion.
The aroma is smoky and understated. On the palate it is dry and sweet at once, with lime, leather, oil and smoke, and a suggestion of mint. It feels resinous on the tongue.
The finish leaves a delicate burn, with a smoky, spicy aftertaste.
