This is a 15 year old Glen Elgin bottled by Scotch Universe under the name Elginaris. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 at 52.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a virgin oak hogshead, and 297 bottles were filled.
The nose is described as ripe apples and pears with warm vanilla and subtle malt. The palate is creamy, with caramel, new oak spice and a fine pepper note. The finish is long, with dry oak spice and a touch of citrus.
