Seagram's VO is a Canadian whisky blend of more than fifty separate whiskies, each aged for at least six years. It is bottled at 40% in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The name is said to date from a conversation among the Seagram family, with the letters VO possibly standing for their very own blend.
The nose offers spicy rye grain, dried apricot, lemon curd, oak and a gristy sweetness. On the palate it is spicy and creamy with honey, caramel and coffee, and a touch of orange marmalade. The finish is medium in length, spicy and sweet.
