This is a 22-year-old Speyside single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by Thompson Bros. It was distilled on 17 November 2000, matured in a refill barrel and bottled in May 2023 at 54% ABV. The 285 bottles come in a 70cl size with a hologram, and the label uses artwork by KMG.
The nose offers autumn leaves, sage, cardamom, dried apricot and barley, with the bitterness of Fernet-Branca. Sage, thyme and stone fruit mark the palate. The finish brings fruit, oak, vanilla and dry herbs.
