Secret Speyside 2009 is a Speyside single malt from Signatory Vintage, part of its Un-Chillfiltered Collection, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Insiders point to Macallan as the distillery behind it.
It was distilled in April 2009, matured in bourbon hogsheads and bottled in March 2023, with 244 bottles filled.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear, vanilla, almond, malt and a hint of grass. On the palate, malt and spice lead into apple, honey and vanilla. The finish is medium in length, with nuts and oak.
