Seven Seals Port Wood Finish is a Swiss single malt made by Seven Seals Innovation in Stans, Switzerland. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is finished in Port wine wood, using the producer's own maturation process. The Port adds rich fruit sweetness, while the malt keeps a velvety texture and warming spice.
The nose is fruit-forward, with dried fruit, Port, gingerbread, roasted almonds and a delicate smoky undertone. On the palate it is full-bodied, with honey, dried fruit, roasted nuts and a little peat smoke. The finish is long and warming, with Port sweetness, malt and baking spices.
