The Age of Capricorn is a Swiss single malt from Seven Seals, made for the Capricorn sign in the distillery's Zodiac line. It is bottled at 49.7% in a 50cl bottle and comes in a wooden box.
The whisky is peated and finished in a double Pedro Ximenez sherry wood. It is released in batches of 365 bottles.
The nose is fresh, with nougat, citrus, eucalyptus and milk chocolate. The palate brings dried apricots and pears, creme brulee and roasted coffee, fruity, sweetish and fresh. The finish is medium in length and warming, with lime blossom, sandalwood and chocolate.
