The Age of Libra is a Swiss single malt from Seven Seals in Nidwalden, finished in rum wood. It is bottled at 49.7% in a 50cl bottle, in batches of 365 bottles.
The release is themed around the star sign Libra, and the rum wood finish adds sweetness alongside a gentle note of smoke.
The nose brings cherry blossom, rye and aloe vera with a hint of liquorice. On the palate, vanilla mixes with woolly medlar and subtle apricot. The finish is soft, long and warm, with cocoa, essential oils and a little light smoke.
