Shackleton is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. It is based on the spirit supplied to the British Antarctic expedition of 1907.
The blend is put together from a selection of Highland single malt Scotch whiskies. It matures in a combination of ex-bourbon casks of American white oak and Spanish sherry casks.
